None of us Walk Alone

Well, we are getting back on track with chick night. We got a bit off track as one of our members moved almost half way around the world. Who can blame her, it was the chance of a lifetime. Ahhh, to have one of those! I do, every single wee, spending it with my girls!!! It's more fun when my Joaner's is around, but it can't be helped given that education thingy. This week we watched Arsenic and Old Lace was the old movie and I had forgotten how hilarious it was! The youngest of our group, 12, found it funny but we are all interested in seeing her reaction with the movie, so we have the 10 year plan in place. Of course the new one was definitely a chick flick and one I wasn't sure about but ended up being really sweet...Just Like Heaven. Won't be a classic, but was good and I would definitely watch it again. I think I finally realized one of the reasons that I've been feeling a little lost. I forgot who was walking with me and didn't pay attention to what He was saying. For those of you who have been worried, I think I'm on the right road again and want to say thanks to all of you. I think my chicks help keep me grounded, this time they helped me see the light. Here's to a bright and glorious week!!!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off To Play We Go!

Ok, really I wanted to be a bum and say ho hum to rhyme with it...but I did that one already. As I don't want to go to work, my other option was to play...and I like doing that!!! Trying to update everything in time for the scary new worm. Here's hoping I was successful! Since my life is so boring, I will borrow from someone else's... My friend's sister's boyfriend came to meet the family for the first time and he was meeting the nieces and nephews making the appropriate comments on adorableness and cuteness and asking all the right questions. Saying to the one 3-4 year old mom how handsome and grown up he was and turning to little Adam asked him what he knew, Adam proudly responded "Yes I am! I like you, your better than her other ones and my pee pee hurts 'cause bubby stomped it!" The young man rather overwhelmed by all the knowledge of the little guy just turned around and said to the horrified mother and aunts and laughing husbands and father, "And we won't be asking this little guy any more questions." Amazingly enough, he didn't run and the two guys are now mutual favorites. Now the girlfriend is worried about playing second fiddle to a 3-4 year old! As many of us know, if this gets serious, she better get used to the issue...there is always football widowhood. Personally, I would rather it be to a kid than a TV or live sporting event!
