Standing, Speaking, Sniffling

Well...I'm almost back to normal, well, normal for me!!! My a** is nearly healed, still can't sit for extended periods of times, but I'm up to about 2 hours. Had doctors appt yesterday and all is getting better, will be about 4-6 weeks before I shouldn't notice anymore. Whew... I'm taking on a new leaf...I'm trying not to get so wrapped up in things, leave the work at the office and home at home. I strongly believe you are what you speak so I am making an effort to be more positive and it's making a difference. Here's an odd thing...since I haven't been able to sit long I've gotten used to working standing up. I've noticed I get more accomplished and do a lot more walking during the day. I also notice that phone calls are much shorter. As I'm sure many would have guessed I have started to research it and interestingly enough there is scientific evidence that indicates standing up when you answer a phone does decrease the time spent on the phone. Once a nerd, always a nerd... Little Lisa moved to LA...sniff, sniff. She's moved in and ready to start school. Joaners is busy giving her advise on the touristy stuff to do when her parents go out this week. We miss you already Lisa!!! Well, not much on this end, just touching base...TTFN

It's all good!

I would have excuses however have none...just didn't visit y'all. Well, I'll try to do better. Basically, I had trouble getting into the mood, I forgot the reason for the season and it took me a bit to get back on track. It ultimately was my children, who are wonderful, who helped wake my muddied little brain up! I refocused and woke-up and all ended up being fabulous in His name. My kids are awesome and gave up most of their Christmas for others...and trust me, d/t finances it was pretty small to begin with. I just love them so much. Had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas and a fantastic New Years...wonderful family and friends. Actually from Mid December on it has been an incredible ride. The baby sister got married and almost our entire family was together which is always wonderful. The only down side was that my sister's kids couldn't come d/t an ass of an almost ex and so my other sister's hubby (I have lots of sisters)had to stay behind to watch them, but at least all of the immediate siblings were together. We made the best of it and things were pretty great. New Years was at our friends house and we all had a great time. The now annual Trivial Pursuit game ended as last year...MY TEAM WON!!! So, I can be a tad bit competitive but it is fun to win! Hope all of you had a blast and here are wishes for the happiest of New Years!!!!
